Lisa Fernald, Administrator
The Fortis family has been fortunate to have Lisa on staff as Administrator at the The Pines for the past 5 years.  As a life-long resident of New Hampshire she brings 20 years experience working in a variety of healthcare settings. Lisa is committed to making The Pines a place the residents are proud to call home.  She says, "Our philosophy at The Pines is very simple:  The residents come first. Our top priority is to ensure the residents' happiness, safety and well being.  We are very fortunate to have such a committed and caring staff.  The residents, families and staff truly feel like an extended family."

Sherry Pomeroy, Assistant Administrator
For the past 9 years Sherry has been working very closely with residents and families throughout the admission process and on a daily basis to ensure a nurturing homelike environment.  As a life-long resident of Newmarket, Sherry knows many of The Pines residents before they even move in! What makes Sherry smile at work?  " I love coming in to work every day to see the residents.  They are all so appreciative of everything we do for them that it makes you feel good about the care we provide.  Each day is a very rewarding experience."

Carole Camlin, RN  Director of Resident Services
Carole came to The Pines as a registered nurse with experience in long term care, home care and geropsychiatry.  Now she works closely with residents, families and physicians to manage and coordinate each resident's medical care.

Dawn Pratt, Director of Activities
Dawn is one of our first employees having come to The Pines when it opened in 1999.  We are fortunate to have Dawn on staff so that the residents benefit from enhanced activities programming.  As a 21 year resident of Newmarket, Dawn's many local connections with volunteers and groups from the community, schools and churches ensures the residents take full advantage of all that Newmarket has to offer. Dawn says, "I feel very fortunate to work in an environment that feels more like a family than a job."

Allen Beattie, Registered Nurse, R-DNS

Allen has been with Fortis Healthcare since 2005 when he was hired as Pine Rock's Director of Nursing. Allen started his nursing career in 1984 as a nursing assistant and has since moved up through the ranks as a CNA, LPN and currently an RN, which he has been since 1996.  Due to Allen’s great leadership and extensive work history he caught the eye of the ownership team and they decided in 2007 to give him a much deserved promotion to Regional Director of Nursing, overseeing both Kirkwood Corners and The Pines of Newmarket.  In addition to his management of the nursing departments at all three of our Fortis Residences, Allen is also involved in marketing, professional development and the overall administration of all three buildings.
